Body Damage is Cool
Replace the rubber line with another rubber line or a braided stainless line.
Fix your speel checker while you're at it! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

It is not a line that I cut it is the thing on the frame that all the lines go to before they go to the drums
Might it be all right just to bypass that?

That would be the proportioning valve (LSPV). You'll need something like that to regulate the rear brake fluid pressure. Either get a used one or you can run a Wilwood prop. valve.

You need something to cut the pressure to the rear drum brakes to keep them from locking up before the disc brakes do. Drums take less pressure than discs. Front Range makes a replacement valve:

Or convert the rear to discs and it may be OK w/o a prop. valve (probably good to have one though).
