OK, I have open diffs, I think, you turn a tire and the other one rotates the opposite direction. But, having just replaced the hubs......the old ones gave up and will go back to Warn for replacement.....I had to take it to the nearby river and bury it in the mud. I got stuck really good ( the right headlight was submerged!) But.....to my amazement, I rocked her a bit and she pulled herself out. ( And ya, my kid cursed me for not having the camera to remember this.) It seems that the whole time I was rockin, all four wheels were pulling, leaving four equally deep ruts. The same thing happens every time I pull someone else out. Why are my axles locking? (Not that I'm complaining!)

I agree, all 4 will pull as long as there is close to equal traction; I get my sportage off camber too often and loose traction and have to try again. >>> open diffs..... Although, in the mud (what's that?), I also find that all 4 pull. Except when I'm stuck.

You had equal traction on all four tires, Thats why they all spun. If one would have found traction it would have stopped spinning. Keep your camera with you from now on . Dennis
