Hi all, new here. I have a 95 Trppoer 3.2l SOHC that has a bad oil leak that appears to be from the valve cover gaskets. It is running down onto the exhaust manifold. I would like to attempt a gasket replacement and would like to know just how much work I am getting into. It appears the intake chamber needs to come off to do it. I'm no great mechanic but I have tools and time. Does anyone know if all the necessary gaskets, etc would likely be available at a parts store like NAPA or such? Also is there anything else I should consider doing during this project? It has about 180K miles on it and the timing belt and water pump have been replaced in the last 30K or so. Thanks in advance.

is it from the sides or the back (by the firewall), where there is a camshaft seal that can leak tons down onto the exhaust. you will want to do that (those), too. and the sparkplug tube seals that also go in the valve cover.

Both valve covers are leaking on the sides, directly over the exhaust manifold. Thanks for the heads up on the cam seal, I will look at that as well.

it's not a bad job. see my post to "replace tube seals" today. i think i pulled the intake to do the passenger side but not the driver side. figure 4-5 hours per side. use a digital camera and take piks of everything or tag the wires and such; there's lots of little stuff to move.
