I own an Isuzu MU 3.0 litre turbo diesel of 1999 manufacture.

I urgently need new rear shocks as my Russian manufactured ones have had it!

Does anyone know the specifications for standard rear shocks for my vehicle?

I am unable to obtain Isuzu parts where I live [2,000 kilometres south of Moscow] but MAYBE Opel Frontera rear shocks would fit the bill IF they are compatible?

Also, if I have the specifications then maybe I could, at the last resort, find Russian manufactured ones that would be okay.

If Mu = Trooper (I think it does), going from memory the stock rear shocks are around 19 to 20 inches long. The lower mount is about 3/4", the upper is smaller, 1/2" or possibly 9/16". Both upper and lower mounts require a loop w/bushing on the shock.

If Frontera = Rodeo, they use a pin-style upper mount, and the lower mount is 1/2" loop/bushing...I think (not an expert on Rodeos). So I don't think the Frontera shocks will work on a Mu.

I apologize for the English measurements, but I cannot remember the metric numbers...
