how?I saw a previous posting about engine lacking power and tranny cpu going into limp mode because of the seals being bad and oil getting down into these tubes.Any info on how to change these?

replace your head gasket seal, clean the oil out of the tubs, replace spark plugs and wire harness for the side thats bad. really easy. take a tub to autozone and tell them you need some of those and they will get them for you. I had to do the same thing on my truck, bout a couple hour project.

i believe you want to replace the valve cover gaskets, not head gaskets (unless something else is wrong). st charles isuzu (800 727 8066)will send you the tube seals and valve cover gaskets if you call them. the seals get hard and don't keep the oil under the cover. it took me about 4 hours per side because of all the little stuff you have to move to get the valve covers off. the worst things to remove are the brackets for pulling the motor out.

yeah, thats it. I said the wrong gasket. but basically its pretty easy apart from the tight spaces and doesnt cost that much to do either.

yeah. go to autozone, I forget what mines called but its pretty good and alot of people use them. tells you everything step by step. well, for replacing parts anyways. but when it comes to upgrades it can work depending on the upgrade and then some are just common sense. right now Im installing new pro comp tie rods I go from Independent4x. I cant beleive in less than a month Ive spent about $600 getting my truck to get to working properly and look somewhat what I want it too. and most of my money has been going to Independent4x too. haha. Damn thats a great place to shop. Never had a problem really except for my high lift jack mount. Just had to do some creative working on redoing the cb tab on there. rim hole wouldnt clear it. lol. but its all good. good luck on your truck man. Its not that hard of a job.
