You don't "fix" a rod. You replace or rebuild the engine. Secondly, just replace the timing tensioner and that sound will most likely will go away. The tensioner on the 3.2 is famous for loosing its ability to tension and sound just like a knocking rod. Search. There are novels worth of information on this.
