My KNN Air filter looks ugly dirty afer 15000km (instruction tells it should be ok for 50000km!) So, how often do you service it? The same question about fuel filter - what is the millege we should replace it?

The wierd thing with K&Ns is that they actually filter better when dirty. The rule of thumb is you change an air filter when you can no longer see light through the pleats when holding it up to a trouble light.

I'd change a fuel filter yearly at least.
