So I have a 91 yj with the 2.5l and I hear that you can swap out the throttle body with that from a 4.0l to gain a few more ponies, which I desperately need. And I was wondering; A. Is this true? and B. Do I need to find the same year tb or can it be any year? Any info would help greatly, thanks.

Your TB is the CORRECT size for your engine.. In normal driving you will LOSE horses with too big of a TB! If you plan on keeping your rpm above 4500 you will need to enlarge your exhaust and change the camshaft to accomadate the larger TB.
If you plan on more horses just put the complete 4.0 in there. The TB alone will simply give you grief.
