Need a Spot
Starting to look for a T100 to buy, read about the drag link, clutch bracket, and cracked axle issues. How do I recognize the cracked axle? Is it only on the driver's rear side, exactlty where does it occur on the housing? does lube leak out to tip off the damage? Is there a particular post or thread I should read for the cracked axle issue? Thanks

Mine was cracked when I bought it a year ago. The crack is just below the driver's side leaf spring and at 1st I thought it was a leaking seal or brake fluid but after I cleaned it up with some carb cleaner I could see the crack.
I sealed up the crack with some epoxy to keep water out. Someday I will get it welded but it doesn't appear to be getting longer yet.

either side. rear of the axle just below the perch. hairline crack can get bigger if ignored. you will see the stain from the gear oil leaking out. it is easy to clean up and reweld. i have done mine and jroc's.
