Kewl, thanks for the tip Im gonna try it this weekend...Ill let you know if that solved my problem....Also, tried to replicate the overheating.....started to do the over heat while 4x4 at low speed as i cruised around the block a couple of times. Also, let the truck sit at idle and moderate over heating..turn on the A/C let it sit at idle and whamo over heated pretty bad! Im at a loss! More insight would be awesome.

If you got it to overheat not moving in the driveway, then you just ruled out the 4x4 system being part of the equation in my mind. Burp the system, make sure you don't have any obvious obstructions on/around the radiator, and see what happens.

If you're still getting the overheat after the burping, I think you're going to have to look at either a bad radiator or a bad fan clutch.

Roman,
For what its worth.... My 99 rodeo LS was overheating during a trip to and from Utah. Nursed it there and back, but even after replacing the thermostat in Utah and taking the radiator off to have it checked & flushed still it overheated! Finally had to take it to a professional who had everything checked! Turns out my motor had blown a head gasket... a small area between layers of the gasket. Compression from one of the cylinders was messing up my coolant system! Motor warranty covered almost all of it thank God! Just my two cents worth Good Luck!
