2.1 in the Ebay auction with a match from Rush. And on CNBC today Dirty Harry tried to make it seem like he should get the credit, and STILL insists Rush bashed our soldiers..... Wow! Imagine...a rich, fat cat, selfish, mean spirited conservative giving that much to charity! I wonder how much reid gives to charity!

I cant believe that guy.
I dont listen to Rush and I am not trying to defend him. But the Harry Reid thing was just childish.

A total of $4.2 million went to the charity of which Rush is a board member. The charity gives 99.9% of what it takes in to scholarships for children of fallen soldiers and FBI agents.

And apparently that is really just a drop in the bucket compared to what he does every year. One of the higher ups with the charity called into the show this week and said that of all the scholarships they give out Rush is one of the largest donors, he just doesn't publicize it. And as far as Reid and the cosigners, I bet some of them donate but not in the $2 mill range. (even though some of them are multi-millionaires) Carlos

I'm impressed that Rush has given so much. Carlos Is that their real rate of use? I mean is that much actually getting the recipients? I've always said the private sector is much more efficient at providing services...I wonder what the efficiency is for Federal "entitlements"?
