Need a Spot
I have a 1998 Jeep Wrangler Sahara Edition. The instrument panel has just started acting weird. When driving down the road the instrument gauges goes completely dead, no fuel, alternator, RPM, speedometer, nothing. It lasts like this for maybe a few miles and then it goes back to normal like nothing was ever wrong. Has anyone experienced this before?

Body Damage is Cool
It sounds like the ground to your instrument panel is loose. Temporarily ground it with an extra wire and see if that solves your problem. If that does, then find and fix the OEM ground.

Yup. It was the ground ribbon under the hood.
