well i just clicked your profile and see it's a 1993, and maybe you don't even have one -- just follow the highpressure hose from the powersteering pump probably to the bracket and it would be there, a pressure switch with an electrical connector. it's purpose is to alert the computer to up the rpm when the wheels are fully or almost fully locked causing more of a load on the engine.

other than that it's the obvious dangling wire getting shorted out by steering components fully turned, but you've probably checked there a few alread...

The 2.6 does not have such an item. It's ability to produce massive amounts of torque make such a switch unnecessary. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
