Getting the Wheeling Fever
ok first off, i did go through alot of the old posts and didn't see anything that helped. so yes, ANOTHER tire question.

the truck is a 99-00 ranger, v6, 4x4 XLT.
i am getting new tires and i was thinking BFG AT's 31x10.5x15

BUT, i'm not sure if they will fit on the rims, or in the wheel well for that matter. the rims look like they are the nice stock alloy's at 15x7. the current tire size is p235/75r15

i've always ran those BFG AT's on my 4runner and never had any issues but that is curretly parked due to the engine and i disagreeing on how it should run. i did take one of the tires off the 4runner and did a little comparing and they seemed like they would fit, but as we all know looks can be deciving! (i told him to check the water hole depth but he didn't listen)

so will those fit in the well ok and on the rim? if not...what size should i go for?

thanks a bucnh!

The FX-4 model came with 31's. They'll likely fit fine.

Yes the tires will fit the rims just fine. As a general rule, you want to use rims with a width that is within 4 inches of the width of the tires, but you also don't want to run too wide of a rim either...make it real easy to lose a bead.

Gun it and run it!
