Need a Spot
I am looking to swap my 1.6 engine for a 20R. Does anybody have any experience with this?

Go to Zukikrawlers.com. They have information on any type of engine swap. I would go with a Suzuki 2.0 swap instead of the 22R. The Suzuki engine has higher RPM's and would be faster. The 22R is reliable, but slow. I have a Toyota with a 22RE and it is slow as well as my friend's 22R. A lot of people are swapping the Suzuki engine for either a 1.6 or 2.0 diesel from VW Jettas. They say they get fenomenal gas milleage and tons of power where they need it.
