Getting the Wheeling Fever
I was in the middle of replacing my clutch when removing the starter it was a standard size bolt WTF!!!!!!\
so do you think that when i get the new bolts from Toyota i should just try to thread them on in or should i was a tap set?
From what i can tell the starter side looks like course threads. I have already reinstalled the trans so taping will be a pain on that end. Does anyone have any good hints or suggestions? Thanx

Use the bolts you removed from the starter. When you tap a new set of threads something may go wrong. If it was holding fine, put it back in. One thing you may wish to check out is the strength grade of the bolt you removed against what should be there. The FSM has the information in it. If the grade of the bolt you removed is lower than recommended, I'd find a bolt of the same size but in the right grade or stronger.

Probably the 10mm through bolt, could be someone swapped it for a 3/8" bolt at some time, after losing the original. Should work fine, that bolt just holds the starter in place (clamping force), does not really locate it or anything precise.
