Ive got a 93 toy-p/u...I put a mod-ed Kieth Black 22re motor in it built by johns foreign engines..view the extras @ 22re.com..Along with it I put a Pace Setter header,high flow cat,and muffler on...Also from same site....My truck seems to be running a lil off...Any help.....Seems to be running rich???272 delta reground cam and header make a mapin issue????MAF sensor adjust???Im confused?????Any help out there?????

I just finished rebuilding my motor 92 4x4 pu 22re.

edited your post so I could make sense of it...

what are the "extras"? i'm too lazy to go look.
what i did to mine;
-bore .020 over
-port/polish intake
-backflush/balance injectors
-cold air intake
-downey broad range cam
-downey header to 2 1/2 inch exh, no cat, flowmaster muff.
-jet reprogrammed ECU.

-had to have throttle position sensor re-calibrated
-had to adjust valves for new cam and again after break-in(and again because i adjusted them cold using hot specs.)
-need to advance cam 2* ahead

i would recommend
-making sure cam timing is where it should be
-valves are adjusted to new cam setting (probably warm setting but check to make sure)
-have your TPS checked.
-have your MAF checked.

Did you have your ECU reprogrammed? Was it done right? Jet messes up on like 5% or so i've heard. I'm not sure mine is right yet... i'll know after i advance my cam.

Did you drop the motor in yourself, with friends, have a shop do it?

Your jet program is probably doing nothing at all. it's a waste of money.
to get true tuning, you have to use a box like an SMT-6.

not visable...plugs look ok??? pulled header off,got black flake and soot after like 1200 miles...getten like 14mpg..31x10.5x15 Dick Cepek mudders....

really???tps do-able myself???took it to the dealer,mistake...they did a cumbustion chamber flush,after i told them it was a new motor...TARDS!!!

the shaft???theyre playin dumb...i took the truck there twice and theyre like"dono what to tell ya man"LAME!!!

the motor comes in a long block built by them in lacenter washington...its the 2350$ one...i feel let down...just tryin to get it runnin rite...
