Just curious on everyone's thoughts of this conversion kit from auto parts warehouse....

If you are going to go with a conversion lense, go with the Hella.

Hella's on Amazon

Or if you really want the best, look for the European Hella lenses. I have them on my truck and they are great.

Thanks for the info on the Hella's. Is this a pretty standard swap? Pull the old light, and hook up the new, or will I have to do any rewiring?

when my gen1 lights burnt out I replaced them with delta tech xenon's, they were about 70 bucks from quadratech and work great. Really sharp cut offs and they're really bright. They are white with a hint of blue. I think they are European E-code lenses

it says it's for jeep but it's still just a 7" round headlight, fit fine in my montero. I think I might have had to bend one of the tabs a little with some pliers to get it to fit snug.

Body Damage is Cool
The headlights should be drop-in replacements with no rewiring necessary. However, if your original wiring is worn or has really brittle insulation, you should think about replacing it. Most factory headlamp wiring is barely adequate for the stock lamps, and is usually undersized for any higher wattage bulbs. If you stick with the stock wattage bulb (usually 55/60 watt), you shouldn't have any problems.
