Getting the Wheeling Fever
I have been wanted to do this for a while and finding a place for the extra battery was a bit of a pain. We all know that there aren't many places that a 2nd battery can fit. This is where i found a place.

I removed the cruise control parts and moved them forward attached to the new battery plate.

I brought a blue sea systems fuse block mounted that behind the air box. You can see the battery placed in the back.

Here is the completed job on the one side, for the most part. Instead of a strap holding it down, i made a metal brace that holds the battery down that goes over the top of it. I went to the junk yard and scored all of the wiring there, great price.

This is the other side completed, where i have the dual battery isolator set up. I also have a switch inside the cab where i can jump the truck.

wow, i'm impressed. Thats veeery tight spot. Thought about doing something in there when the time came to get my air compressor hooked up, but just couldnt to fit right. Its about the ONLY spot to put anything in there, unfortunately, I'm sure it is gonna be a pain to change out everytime.

You got any close up shots of the second battery area?

What kind of isolator did you use? It looks like the one I had for my last genI... it worked sweet. One time on the trail, I went to crank the truck over (my only auto), and couldn't turn the starter - pushed the button to use both batts, and it was enough cranking amps to get it turned over again! Of course I went home and rebuilt the starter, but I was able to get home!

Dual setup is the cats meow! Great placement! You guys don't have much room under there...

I used the surepower 1314-200 i believe. after searching the net for a while i thought that this was the right one for me. It was an ebay special.
