That's your problem. The universal Bosch O2 sensors have to be custom wired. You can't just plug them in.

On the engine wiring harness side here is the correct color code and function. Match that up to the color code and function provided with the sensors:

Front O2 sensor:

Yellow/white - O2 +
Blue - O2 - (ground)
Lt green/red - Either heater wire
Red/green - Either heater wire

Rear O2 sensor:

Blue - O2 +
Yellow/white - O2 - (ground)
Green/blue - Either heater wire
Black/red - Either heater wire

Getting the Wheeling Fever
I'm having the same issue with my 2001 2wd 2-door. I replaced both O2 sensors with Denso universals. With my OBD tool, I see activity on both sensors. I just can't get rid of p0135 & p0141!!!

P0135 - Front O2 sensor heater malfunction.

P0141 - Rear O2 sensor heater malfunction.

Check both O2 sensor heater fuses. You might have blown them when you initially wired the sensors incorrectly.

I don't think I wored mine wrong. They both work. I only found one of the blocky 30A fuses blown, but replaced it. Still have codes. I don't even know what the blown fuse was for.

In the fuse box in the passenger compartment, lower right. There are two 10 AMP fuses for the O2 sensor heaters. Check them.
