Wiperblade problem.... #845382 11/04/07 10:45 PM

So, i got in my shocks/wiper blade motor yesterday night, and put in the wiper blade motor today. But...do to my luck, when i tried it after i hooked it all up..nothing happened. No noise from it, it appears to have not started.

Now, i'm looking to see what's the problem, could it be the actuator arm? Should I be able to manually move the actuator arm by bulling it to move the windshield wipers?

Could I just be overlooking something, the fuse seems good..but i don't know, the wiring seems okay also...any insight would be appreciated, can't really go anywhere if I can't see past the rain!

Have you pushed the wiring connector for the motor all the way in?

try to hot wire it, just to test that it works.

If you haven't already, check to make sure that the pivot for the passenger-side blade is tightly secured to the cowl. If there is flex on that pivot it will lock up the system.

I got it to work, it was the fuse, thus I needed NO MOTOR, thankfully I can return it. (Yay for my dad overlooking it)

The motor works..but the wiper blades don't, i'll make sure to check the pivot and all that, see if that gets them to work.
