Getting the Wheeling Fever
What do you guys have in your trucks?

I'm building a tool kit to bring with me wheen i do wheeling and as a DD.

Before I just threw alot of tools in the back and hoped it was enough.

The plan so far is to have a bag with winch equpment and a Peli Case looka like case with tools.

I'm thinking basic tools and tyre fixing stuff. Extra valves and so on.

Bring on your ideas.

I would buy a full mechanics cheapy set for the truck, keep your "good" tools at home. Then throw in a few extras

Spark plug socket
ratcheting wrenches
needle nose vise grips
Lineman's pliers
battery terminal cleaner
big adjustable wrench
small hammer
file
utility knife with extra blades
set screw drivers
wobble extentsion
punch
chisel
magnetic tool pick up
small pry bar

Duct tape
electrical tape
coat hanger wire
electrical wire

I cram all that into a old military ammo can

hi-lift jack(practice before you need it) and tow straps(longer than you think you need), tree strap, gloves and mud boots, matches, long handle shovels( the friend can dig also),drinkable water, a blanket and a can or two of chili. i live in the sierras and had to spend the night with my truck once and had none of this.
