Need a Spot
I was recently told that when installing a cps, they need to be adjusted correctly. Seeing how i know nothing about them, i justed stuck mine in. Now my jeep starts again, but it is running like s@$t. I have a 93 Grand Cherokee with the 4L 6cyl. Does anyone know if there is a proper way to install a cps? Could this be why i know have a weaker spark and bad idle? Sorry to bother you all with this but i'm getting pretty desperate. If anyone has any input i would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

If you still have the old one look at it and observe how the adjustment MIGHT be made..

Body Damage is Cool
I know at one point crysler made them where they could be. when you installed it did you notice if one hole was elongated.(the one that goes toward the top) if not just loosen the bolts a little and see if you can shift it a little.I can't remember if it requires 1/8 or 1/4 inch space, but im leaning to 1/4. just play with it a bit and see what happens.
Also have your o2 sensor checked that can cause it to run crappy.

out of all the jeeps in this town the d**n gremlin had to invade mine

I've done so much, with so little for so long i can practicly do anything with nothing
