Hey, My 1989 Dodge Raider has no Clutch Pedal Pressure at all. Ive checked the fluid level an it was below minimum. I added more an try to bleed it an I got some pressure back, but the pedal keeps on sticking all the way down. I'm not able to change gears at all. Can someone help me fix this problem the correct way I have not a clue where to begin but what I know from the top of my head. This is my first manual vehicle. Is there a leak I should be looking for? Is my S/C, M/C, bad? My transmission worked wonderfully and the clutch worked well too. Never grind when changing or slipped. I believe im not bleeding correctly.

Pretty easy to bleed. Just loosen and gently press the pedal until it streams out with no air bubbles.

Do you have any fluid on the ground now after filling and pumping the pedal? I think the slave cylinder will spew fluid when it goes. At least mine did. Not much to those things, so I would guess they mostly either work, or leak.

Not sure on the master. Search for that and user Stony-man as he had to redo the master on his 92 recently. See what his symptoms were.

No didn't fine any leak after pumping the pedal. No bubbles as well. All I did was added fluid to the max had someone pump the pedal an when there was pressure you can see the fluid level go down, an when there is a loss of pressure you see the level rise up to max again. Even putting the cap on when there is pressure, every time there is a lost of pressure the cap would come off. An there is no way screwing on the cap because its just a clip on. I hope I can describe clearly as possible.

I'm wondering if you either have a worn/broken clutch fork or a contaminated/plugged clutch release cylinder.

Still haven't had the opportunity to start working on my truck. Ive been reading the Haynes manual in the troubleshooting chapter. Number 39 "Clutch pedal stays on floor when disengage", and under that states "Binding linkage or release bearing. Inspect Linkage or remove clutch components as necessary." Where should I be looking, because this is exactly whats wrong with my clutch pedal. When I turn on the car I gently press the clutch when I have pressure on the pedal an you can here the clutch working, and then when I let go of the clutch pedal it falls to the floor. So it cant be a broken clutch fork, an I do have pressure when I'm pumping the clutch pedal, so whats making it fall to the floor? Where should I be looking? Thanks for all your help! I wanna do everything possible in my hands before I call the tow truck!
