Well, theres one less now. Mine was totaled Thursday. I was stopped in a left turn lane waiting to turn......when a girl in Trooper decided to use the lane for acceleration from a side street. She smacked me head on, full throttle. I stumbled away with bruises and such, but great full I'm only that. I'll post the "funeral" pics this afternoon Wow, three air bags can really kick you're a$$. Anyway.......what do I replace it with? I really loved my Sporty and theres not a lot here to buy to replace it. Any suggestions within a sporty price range? The closes I can come up with is a Heep Comanche.
I'll try to see what they want for the carcass. If I can buy it back cheep, I'll part it out to you guys. Rob

Sorry to hear of your wreck. New? A new JK. The X series can be had for ~$15000. They come with D44s in the rear, and a new factory D44 front, with lockers and gears, cost only $1200. Used? Older generation automatic V6 Grand Vitara. Cheap, punchy and lots of aftermarket support (relatively speaking).

Just fix it, I have the same color parts!
Hell I would even bring the parts down over christmas break for a reasonable fee.

Body Damage is Cool

That look fixable to me. You should't have frame damage, looks a radiator support, some lights, and some sheet metal and your good. Time to make a custom bumper. It would take a lot more than that to kill mine for good. Anyway I'm glad your OK. Dennis

Ahhhh yesss, we all need a RUBI!.......But I'm not that hurt, and my laywer isnt that good. Yesterday I felt better, So I went to teh yard and crawled under it. No frame damage, so maybe I can get the cash to fix it. I will replace teh bumpers with Jeep tube ones. Ive looked, and nothing equals my Sporty around town. All I could find was a 2003 Tracker, and it feels a little aneimec compared to mine. Hopefully I'll hear today. Thanx for teh support guys!
