I am new to forum. I just bought a 91 trooper with 92000 on it. I drove it for 3 days , ran great. One day I let it idle for 5-10 minutes it died and I could not restart. took it to local mechanic he said started for him a couple of times. He said I needed to take it to an electrical shop. Does anyone have any suggestions?

This happened to me once with my 1991 trooper, all I had to do was clean the battery terminals with a metal brush. Could be something that simple or it could be a bad ground anywhere. Still, it takes 2 min to clean the battery terminals, funny thing was that mine didn't look too bad.
