When I take off there is a clicking noise. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> Only lasts for a few seconds. Also happens when in reverse. Drive line doesn't seem to be loose. U/H joint?? Also vibration under acceleration. Have an 80 yota, stock gears, rollin 35's.

I'd start with the ujoints, esp with running stock gears with those 35's.

Need a Spot
I'm pretty sure my Ujoints have been going out for quite a while now. The question is, can I let it go for a while before I really need to replace them? I know they really aren't that expensive in the long run, but I'd rather hold off as long as I can. What are the adverse affects of not replacing them now? Thanks ahead of time.

Depending on which one is shot, you may even get stranded. Center bearings and joints on split drive shafts are notorious for quick failure once they dry out. Front and back ones are wobbly until you cannot stand it any more. If you have never replaced any on a shaft, do them all. the labor is getting the unit in and out. A good drive shaft shop will knock them out in a flash, probably while you wait if they are not swamped.
