Locking the rear sliding glass windows?

Is there a easy way to get the sliding glass rear window to lock securely? Any jerry-rig or 3rd party solution? The actual "clip" on mine is long gone, and i'm looking for alternate methods of securing it.

wooden dowel in the glass channel. That's what I did. I also put a small nail in one end so I could pull it out easily.
