Ok bought it for $300 and it really runs. BUT its rusted like an East coast car. I need to clean it up and get some kind of an air claener assbly. on it- just an open carb now. ANY SUGGESTIONS?? Can I take off the rear load brake proportion thingy?? Are the stick shifters really supposed to be that close together? They hit each other when shifting.

$300 and runs? Good for you. Check eBay for the air cleaner. AAMOF, I saw one for sale the other day there! The load porportion valve I'm not sure about. The shift levers shouldn't touch. Probably just bent.

Either that, or one was put in backwards, like after a clutch job. Yeah, $300 and going puttputtputt is a good thing. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />
