Need a Spot
I am looking for a good used 4L30 transmission for my 91 Trooper. I had mine rebuilt but the guy that did messed up the build twice and the third time built it using a GM diagram instead of an Isuzu diagram and is still messed up. It shifts only if you manuelly shift it and I am feed-up with the whole mess. I am looking for one that the seller knows is in good working order.

Auto Zone Salvage yard system. They are linked to 1,400 yards. They find it, they order it, it's delivered to them, you pick it up, you install it, they guarantee it for 3 years. $1,449.00

What ever you do don't buy from Phoenix Hardparts, piece of crap trannies and ripped me off for the core charge.

Hey sorry I have not replied to your answers, got caught up in some stuff at my shop. I am located in Front Royal, Va.

I have checked a few places online but they all have not returned my emails but I will check autozone. I just do not want to spend a lot on a used transmission. I have had one of thier reman. trannys before and it made 1 month past the warranty before it went out. But thanks for the resources.

Which companies reman tranny did you have? Just curious My Phoenix hardparts started going south after only three months. When I contacted them about the warrantie they said they couldn't honor it because they never received the core, which btw the shipping company showed being delivered. There was a pretty darn good post it looked lik eon Planet Isuzu about rebuilding one for pretty darn cheap, just not sure if at least I want to tackle it.

If you can manually shift it then mechanically the transmission is good, you just have an electrical problem.
