Getting the Wheeling Fever
Fellas I have been on the board for a awhile now.. Thanks for all your help keeping my Oldyota around for 7 years and thru 50,000 miles... Well the rust got so bad on her I had to sell it off... But now I have replaced it with a 1993 T100 2wd SR5. I would have loved to get another 4x4, but I couldn't pass this one up... Its got 123k on the odometer and I paid $2300.00 for her.... She's clean as a whistle inside and out, but she's got a few issues... First off the valve covers are leaking bad, and she idles a little rough. It also sounds like either the fan idler, water pump or some other pulley is making some noise.. I'm going to call the dealer and see if the burnt valve deal has been fixed or not... Any other areas of concern I need to be looking for? Thanks in advance, and glad to be posting back on the board even though I'm in a different forum now..

Need a Spot
I moved up from a 94 little truck. I love my T100. You'll really enjoy the move up.

If that's the 3.0, wouldn't you mean head gasket campaign?

I know the #4 and #6 exhaust valves tended to burn, given the constriction of the crossover. Most folks resolved that with a header. I don't recall seeing a TSB for a valve job tho.'

Sounds like a nice deal. Get the fluids changed and purge the brake and clutch lines, and go have a little fun. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />
