Need a Spot
Hey guys, a friend on mine has a 93' Toy pick-up V6 standard cab and is looking for a entry level 2.5 - 4" lift kit for his truck. He wants to put on size 32's and not rub the wheels wells. We are having a hard time finding something that isn't way out of his price range for the truck. He doesn't do any mudding just a little light trails that's it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Mike

Should not need any lift to fit 32s, but some mild lift options are listed on the web page below:

Roll Me Over
I ran 32x11.50 AT's on 15x8's w/3.75BS on my '90 for a few years and they only rubbed a little at full lock at the inner body seam. All you have to do to resolve this issue is beat the seam down w/a good sized hammer. It will be easier if you take the tire off, so you can get a good swing. You can also grind the seam down, but the hammer route is the easiest. With a narrower rim/or narower tirethe 32's may not rub at all.

More than tread lightly. Leave it like you were never there, nor anyone else.

'91 X-cab 5.29's 315's BFG MT's, rr ARB, custom bumper and flatbed

Getting the Wheeling Fever
It all depends on the tires and the backspace of the rims they're on really...

I ran 32x11.50's on my truck and they rubbed like hell until I put on a 3" body lift. With the bl I could have run 33's pretty easily.

If they were available at the time though a bj spacer most likely would have been all I really needed. I just would have also had to do a shackle in the rear to level the truck.

This is the way to go. Ran 32x11.5's on a 90 pickup and 94 4Runner, both on factory 15x7 SR5 wheels with zero rub.

I have nothing important to say.
