I'm aware that the 91 troopers came with either 4.56 or 4.77 but how do you tell what you've got? Big tire package came with 4.77 but how do you know if you got the big tire package? I've only owned it for 2 years so who knows what tires have been put on it since it rolled of the factory floor, I've got 35's on it now.
One more thing, did all the LS models come with limited slip diffs? Cause I've got the LS and can't tell if it's limited slip or not, just want to put a locker in it.
Thanks

For the LSD, check the option codes on the firewall plate for G80. (There also is a code for big tire option, but I don't remember what it is.)
Or, jack up both rear tires and see firsthand.

4.56 gears should have an option code of HC6 and 4.77 should have option code S2J. Wide tire option is code 6NZ but isnt usually listed on the option plate.
