Getting the Wheeling Fever
Hey all,
I just had my 90 aligned yesterday and did not notice until just a few min ago that the heading of the specification chart printout (from the tire company) is for a 1992-99 trooper. So it was adjusted to with in those specs.

They are closed tomorrow (Sunday) and I need to make a 250 mile drive tomorrow to start work on Monday. I really have NO idea if it is a problem or not. I tried a bunch of places to ask but they are closed as well.
Should I postpone the trip till this is fixed?

Thanks for your help,

How does the vehicle "feel" when you drive it? Does it track relatively straight?

If so, then you are probably fine. It may be as simple as their software doesn't have entries to print that early of vehicle.

Getting the Wheeling Fever
Hey Jim,
You know I just drove it briefly on the freeway maybe 2 miles and it seemed ok but I was preoccupied by the roughness of the tires as I had them rotated at the same time (they were overdue). For the most part, I guess it seemed pretty normal.

I think you will be fine.

By the way, I lived in Tehachapi from 1955-1961.

Thanks Jim,

I'm a transplant here in BAK, I followed a now X wife here 16 years ago from the Bay Area. Its not the Bakersfield of the past its pretty much a real City now. Actually tons of people are migrating from the Bay area and LA and its becoming a combined version of those cities..with the traffic as a bonus. Tehachapi hasn't changed much, I think because its such a pain in the <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/butwiggle.gif" alt="" /> to get there and back..Very pretty though..
Thanks again for the help. I'm gonna try the drive and see what happens, if its not right they can wait another day they have been waiting this long for me to finish.

Body Damage is Cool
The front steering/supsension should be the same on those years, so the alignment specs should be the same. As Jim said, if it feels good, should be no problem.

As for the rough ride, check the tire pressure.

ALL,
Luckily my trip was postponed cause of rain, so I called the shoppe and they confirmed it was the same specs.

Thanks again for the quick responses.
