Getting the Wheeling Fever
For some reason last time i was back home driving my truck the heater just stoped working. It still blows air but it is the same temperature weather the slide is on cold or hot. I don't have ac if that makes any difference.
-Thanks for everything

>>>*Three possible causes. Low coolant level, an obstruction of some kind like a hose or heater core plugged, or a heater control valve failure....*EB

Check the heater valve on the firewall, make sure the cable is still attached. Not uncommon for that to pop loose.

And any gurgling or whooshing sound from the dash area when you rev the engine?

Gurgling noises indicate some sort of bubbles going through the heater core, usually varies with engine revs (different flow rate). Could be due to low coolant, or air trapped in the cooling system or exhaust gas from the cylinders leaking past the head gasket.

Easy to install. Its bolted to the top middle of the firewall in plain view. Has a cable hooked to it. Unhook the cable and move the control manually. Hoses on both sides should be hot. Shouldnt cost you but 10-20 at the most.

No gurgling sound when i rev it, I topped of the coolant and it still doesn't blow hot air, it blows air just fine but its not hot air. I am going to check the hoses to see if that helps

Sounds like your blower resistor went south; I take it your temp guage is still in operating range, yes?
