Need a Spot
I am sick of buying cheap, off-name brands that NEVER last the indicated mileage. What brand and make would make a good all season tire? I mostly drive on pavement, but I see a share of snow and mud/dirt trails. I know ONE tire can't excell at all conditions, but what are some good options? I own a 1500 Silverdao. Thank you, all.

Body Damage is Cool
BF Goodrich all terrains are excellent all season tires. I don't know about the advertised mileage of them.

Truxus mud terrains are pretty agressive, but are rated great for muddy and icy conditions. Again i am not sure about the mileage rating. I run these on my work truck, and they have worked well in mud and wet weather.

Oh yeah, the Mickey Thompson ATZ's are known to be a good all season, and last quite a while.

The biggest thing that'll help the tread life on a Silverado is getting a proper alignment and rotating your tires often. I'd have it done with every oil change or sooner (around 3000 miles). No tire will last as long as it says if it's left on the front of your truck for very long (by "your truck" I mean 1500 Silverado). Something about the way they set up the front end, even when properly aligned, still requires very frequent tire rotation or the fronts wear out on the insides.

I would get a set of Yokohama's Geolandar A/T Plus II tires. Good for both on and off road. I love mine. I use mine for winter here in Colorodo.

Getting the Wheeling Fever
I really like my Bridgestone Dueler AT Revos. Quiet on the road, great traction, good in snow and dirt. No experience in mud.
