Getting the Wheeling Fever
|
I have an 87 Wrangler. Busted off three studs trying to get the wheel off so that I could work on the brakes. I got three new studs and got them in without taking off the hub, but I'm not comfortable leaving it that way (trying to torque down the wheel studs in and not pressing or hammering them in instead). anyway, I tried to take the hub nut off and it was very tight, so much so it wouldn't move. I found that strange, in that if it wouldn't but, the wheel/hub shouldn't turn at all.
Is it a left hand thread? Should I be turning clockwise to loosen instead of counter clockwise?
