Getting the Wheeling Fever
Okay just got a good deal on a 1995 trooper, but it needs a clutch and I heard they can be a pain to replace. I've done several clutch jobs before and was wondering if you can seperate the bell housing from it? If so would it be easier to remove the transfer case from the trany also? I've also noticed this is a pull system not a push and is there anything I need to watch for or is it a straight forward operation? If you have any info or links, it would be much appreciated thanks

It is still a MU5 tranny, so the tranny and transfer case is a package deal. You have to remove the unit in its entirety.

Okay got the trans out and I noticed the crazy clutch setup that isuzu has. Its a pull system right? How does it work? I never messed with a pull system, and are all the Isuzus like this? This setup has me scratching my head and why didn't they keep it simple and do a push system? Please help.
