Just a little post about a couple books that I have read recently. I know there are some history buffs around here. (at least I think there are)

"War as I Knew It" by George Patton
Awesome read. It's his personal journal he wrote during the war. It's fun getting in to the mind of a genius even for a little while. "Attack, attack, attack. And when both sides are too tired to attack then you attack again because they won't be expecting it." (not verbatim)

"A Soldier's Story" by Omar Bradley
Awesome read by a brilliant and fair minded general of the great war. Interesting to know that Montgomery's hesitation to take Caen (Normandy invasion) was just a diversion to draw forces from the south so we Americans could take Cherbourg. (he was highly criticized for this "delay") Great stuff!
