03 XLS with 118'000 and going strong with just normal maintenance done to it.
03 Montero XLS, OME 2"suspension lift,Full skid plates, Extended Diff/transfer breathers. 34 LTB's, Winch w/syn rope, Locked front/rear.

My 87 Raider has a whopping 159,000 on it. It has become my daily driver, replacing my lowered 350-powered S-10. I love this thing, can't wait to take it hunting.

I just found this thread. How fun! My 1990 Montero odometer says 318,000. But, my ex <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/evil.gif" alt="" /> had it turned back when I first bought it in 93 with 60,000 and I don't remember by how much. I think about 7 - 8,000. The engine has had some work, but not a rebuild, just timing belt and gaskets. Tranny has had work, too but not a rebuild. I use it on my daily commute of 70 miles RT and for fun. I used to tow my '73 21' Airstream with it, but admittedly, it was a struggle up hills. I also used it as a work horse when I remodeled my former house, once having to put 13 sheets of drywall on the roof rack and while building our adobe house, we hauled French doors on the top. Just last fall (2006) I drove it roundtrip to St. Paul Minn. through Chicago, with my dog for company. When I got hit by a speeding semi-truck on I-40 eastbound in Missouri, I was able to continue my trip with damage on my bumper & rear 1/4 panel and both my dog & walked away without being hurt. Raider 210K - best car I've ever owned (which includes 6 MMC4X4s)
Pajero 114K - Just replaced a cracked head. I think a 4M40 would be a better engine. I was surprised to find out that the 4D56 is based on the 2.6 liter 4 cylinder. I've had four of those and don't trust those engines.

We have 320+ K miles on out 91 RS, It was only rebuilt because it was smoking a good deal but other then that all is still original and working. The only issue is the suspension is as old and starting to make a lot of noise, so I may be upgrading that soon.. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

My Montero Sport is sitting at just over 395,000. Haven't looked since my last oil change. Original 3.0L engine, though.
Any engine rebuilds? Same transmission? Whats your secret to 400k miles.
93 montero sr 3 inch body lift 31x11.50 super swamper ltb, 2 8inch 130 watt pro comp off road lights, 2 55w lights on the rear bumper, rear air locker, magnaflow exhaust muffler,superwinch manual hubs,15x8 black rock crawlers (steel)
