Started about a week ago (well..thats when my friend told me the lights were out)
Everytime i replace the stoplight fuse, it blows as soon as i touch the brake. I've removed the trailer connection to eliminate that..just wondering if theres any key spots to check. If not..anyone know the brake light wiring route so I can start searching.

I'd double check where your trailer wiring used to be. Maybe there's still a bare wire back there. That's the most likely place for a problem. Less likely is a grounded wire in the taillight assembly wiring itself.

Another thing to check is the bulbs and the sockets. Bulbs can have a short. Remove the bulbs and see if the fuse blows. Also, look down inside the sockets, and see if the center conductor is touching the outside of the socket.
