It really isn't much trouble to drop a tank anyway.. I have done it in the desert with the tools at hand.. If you can do it and make a nice job of it go for it. Had a buddy went through 3 after market fuel pumps within 3 yrs. By the time he dropped the tank the 2nd time we added access in a camaro. Finally put a delco in it and didn't visit it again. You must be sure of what stuff is under the panel your about to cut. Sometimes it's not possible. Engineer's design stuff to ware out they don't consider accessibility, If it out lasts the warranty they did there job. Good luck Re: cutting out floor for fuel pump access?
