Getting the Wheeling Fever
Today I broke in my Jeep. Super day. I was fully technically equipped for the trip, thanks to you.
I crossed a stream (more than once), powered thru puddles, climbed stony creek beds - this Jeep is an animal -crossed mud pits, scaled hills, skidded down hills, crossed crevices. Awesome, unbelievable. After all this, I drove my Jeep home. That's what Jeep is about. I am happy.
Note - still trying to add some pictures - resized also

Body Damage is Cool
Great pics, Wrangirl! It's nice to be able to put a face with the name. Looks and sounds like you had a lot of fun! It's pretty clear that the bug has bitten you. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />

I love seeing a Jeep with mud on it!!! Were the pictures of the clean and shiney Jeep taken before your trail ride, or afterwards after you cleaned it off?

Ahhhhh! The first pics were a mistake - I tried to show only a few but I misunderstood how Photobucket works.
The shiny Jeep is the "before" pic. I haven't cleaned it and I don't intend to until Monday.

Hey dudette you can slow down on those little puddles.. Your ride will go thru them and even stop in the middle and then proceed..

P.S. I was lucky to get these pictures - the batteries in my digital camera went dead at one point, but I luckily had brought additional batteries, which also died, but we went to a local Exxon down an exit from the park to buy new batteries, to come back for the stream pictures, which required several takes. (I did not mind and my husband is patient.)
I wish I could load these pictures on the page but I can't, only a link.
The picture with the shiny Jeep and the great canvas bags - those bags contained everything I took on the trip except for the 48" farm jack, which was lying across the top of the trunk area. More than I planned but most that was suggested by you all and some.

You could go thru ones like that and only get your wheels wet..no mud on the windshield..
