Getting the Wheeling Fever
It started about last month and it is always on. If left on for a while it drains the battery.

Just wondering if its the clock itself or ??

Any suggestions on what to check?

thanks

Back of the clock should have one wire that is constant 12 volts (red-white - for the time keeping) and one that is switched 12 volts (red-green - for the display). Test the switched line to see if it is staying on. If so, trace that wire back to where it comes from. Normally powered off the cigarette lighter circuit/fuse, so perhaps that circuit has been modified to stay hot all the time or the relay that controls it is stuck on.

Thanks man....any chance you can give me information where the relay is for that circuit?
I'm guessing its near the fuse panel?

Factory Service Manual (link at top of forum) has a wiring diagram in it. I think the cig. lighter may be fed from the ACC output of the ignition switch. May or may not have a separate relay.
