Need a Spot
Hello all, new to the forum (just bought a jeep, saw this forum here thought I'd post).

Over the winter we had some snow. I was convinced I'd be fine with my little 4x4 sidekick and commenced a dash up our street. the snow was about 4 to 5 inches deep on the road, and I was doing ok for the most part. A jeep pulled out in front of me and forced me to have to stop.

When I tried to go again, I was stuck. The rear wheels were now spinning. So I said no problem and dropped into 4wheel drive... No luck, the fronts didn't do anything, and only 1 rear tire was spinning now. I ended up having to get pushed backwards to get free...

Is this normal?

disclaimer: Sorry to be so ignorant on this, my zuke is the first 4x4 I've owned aside from the snow I hadn't had a chance to really use it, and this was the first time.

thanks

If your Suzuki has auto lock hubs, they weren't engaging. You could swap in some manual hubs for the autos. If you have manual hubs, were they engaged?
