Getting the Wheeling Fever
I've got 2 separate issues going on, first is a driveline vibration between 55-75 mph which is present with any amount of throttle. No throttle, vibration dissapears. smooths out around 80 and below 50. My best guess is center support bearing, need opinions before I tear into it.

Second is the death wobble in the front end, I've changed out the track bar bushing already. Shocks are Bilstiens in good shape. The wobble only happens below about 50, and can get very violent. Would the alignment contribute to that, or are the ball joints the likely suspects?
Is there a write up on balljoint swaps out there?
Thanks,

Dave A.

Dave,

The vibration could very well be your rear drive shaft balancer, located just ahead of the rear u-joiut, or a carrier bearing as you suggest.

To check your steering components for wear, jack up one front wheel and forcefully move the wheel side to side and up/down in order to check the ball joints and tie-rod ends. Secondly, the pitman arm may have some issues. I assume you have a steering stabilizer, most F350's I've seen have one. Disconnect the stabilizer if you have one before the above test.
