Getting the Wheeling Fever
While searching for plug wires I noticed that only 3 are supplied. Yes I know, coils cover 1,3,5. But one of those boots is in poor condition. Can the wires be dis-assembled to use on coil packs or anyone have part numbers for those components? Seems like Bosch and NGK are the most stocked.Big price difference. Magnecor would be ok also if all 6 are supplied.

Body Damage is Cool
Any set of wires that you find for your engine will only have 3 wires in it. You might try calling a stealership parts dept. & see if the coil boots are available separately, if they're not, you'll probably be stuck buying new coil packs since I'm pretty sure you won't find that spark plug boots will work.

Thanks for the reply, i kinda figured the Stealer would be the only alternative. Was really hoping someone else had been thru this and is as cheap and particular as me. The Stealer is 60 miles away and the parts guys remind me of the usual Home Depot clerk.I can't seem to make CAPS work for me, at least reliably, need to spend more time with it. I also was surprised that components don't seem to be available even thru aftermarket manufacturers - at least the ones I searched in a lengthy online session. I'll keep trying.

Thanks for the info, found Kingsborne #11-821,#11-806 and Karlyn/STI #679, Magnecor #60-186, Bosch #9206, Ngk #ME95 8692. Stealer was no help on coil pack boots, Buy 3 coils @ $130.00 each. Only Kingsborne listed coil boots in kit, but wires are only 5 MM. Yep, findin and fixin piece by piece. Nearly as bad as an old classic, at least thisun doesn't require "only" this part with the right combination of part # and paint dots and wax pencil marks.I'm getting better results with CAPS finally, That is one handy tool!
