Most here would go for a good deal on a fuelie..and the 94 is a fuelie.. Nothing particular about that model that would bother most of us.. The 97 up wrangler is the newer model and lots of us would be looking for the newer one..

No problem with mine, but the fact I've got to change H2O pump at 73000 miles. Oh well. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/mrt.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/butwiggle.gif" alt="" />truck <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" /> [Linked Image]

Well I said it ran good I went and took it on a longer test drive.......needless to say someone had to come get me. It started studdering and backfiring. I really think it was probably water in the gas or bad gas, it hasn't been driven in months. I'm gonna wait and see what becomes of it. I now have even more of a bargaining tool after I had already brought them down 1600 from the asking price.
Thanks for the response.

Hey Bama backfireing is usually an electrial problem. Make em repair and give you the results of the repair.

yea most likely the o2 sensor being the culprit.did you happen to notice if the check engine light was on?. that is if they didn't remove the bulb. also if it hasn't been driven in monthes maybe that was why it was parked.

As bj said it could be any electrical issue though.

out of all the jeeps in this town the d**n gremlin had to invade mine

I've done so much, with so little for so long i can practicly do anything with nothing

Well they claimed it was the fuel pump. I decided not to buy it anyway. Thanks for the comments.
