how do you take the pcv valve off? mine seems like its press fitted or something. accidently broke trying to get it out.


cone filter, boche platinum 4 plugs, 235/75/15 kumho all terrains jeep tj rear springs and rav 4 rear shocks, rocksport gear 4" front springs, warn manual hubs, 2.25 inch exhaust, no cat, 48" thrush glasspack

I had the same problem. It's pretty brittle plastic. I broke mine off trying to replace it and the "rubber" grommet in the valve cover was plasticky. I also replaced the "rubber" hose attached to the valve (also very hard plastic) with some fuel line I bought from the parts store because I broke the new PCV valve trying to put the original hose back on. You may want to do the same.

thanks. finally got that little project done. ended up having to get the hose like you suggested because i broke the original. whats with all the hoses being made out of that hard plastic? PITA. anyway, thanks again.
