Hi all,

'86 extra cab just got back from paint a few weeks ago and
putting stuff back on. The cowl is off presently and would like to grease the wiper pivots.
Anyone done it and is it as easy as on my MKII VW's ?
Was hoping to just remove circlips and push then in, pump some grease, stroke them and reclip before putting cowl and wiper arms back on.
Thanks for any info and stuff to look out for.
Hugh

OK just got done!
Typical Toyota high quality stuff!!
Looks like somekind of bronze bushing inside pivot.
on the VW it's just cheap white metal / zinc cast and pressed steel sleeve I think.
Was not readly necessary but better off being on top of it.
Pivots are held up in place by some small circlips.
One was worn, didn't have any snap rings right size so bent it back in shape for now and thoroughly flushed with grease.
Later,
Hugh
